Access Days
Access Days are organised by Leisure Services and are multi-sports events for children with disabilities. The events provide children with the opportunity to take part in a range of different indoor and outdoor activities including athletics, cricket, fencing, dance, hockey and football to name just a few.

We always get a fantastic response to the athletics day when the children get the opportunity to try lots of different activities including shot put, javelin, ability bikes, tri-golf and salsa dancing!
February sees Access Day at the Link Centre, 179 children from 30 different schools took part in activities ranging from football to croquet, ice skating to rock climbing.
All special needs and mainstream schools are invited. These events are very popular and give the kids an opportunity to try out sports that they may not always be able to access.
