Wheelchair Sports
Leisure Services run a number of wheelchair sports sessions. With funding from Aiming High, we have purchased 10 sport wheelchairs and other sports equipment for tag-rugby, basketball, sledge hockey and tennis.
Wheelchairs sports are fully inclusive and can be played by anyone, male or female, they embrace a wide range of disabilities and can also be played by non-disabled people. The overall ethos is for participants to enjoy themselves no matter what their ability. Sessions will be run by qualified coaches.
