Taxi and Private Hire licensing Team

About Us

Hackney Carriage and Private Hire licensing within the Borough of Swindon is administered by the Passenger Transport Services section, part of the Transport Services Department within the Group Directorate of Environment and Leisure.

The section is headed by the Passenger Transport Manager who is responsible for strategic and policy matters regarding all aspects of the Section's portfolio.

The team responsible for Taxi and Private Hire licensing consists of Rod Collett (Passenger Transport Officer), assisted by Mike Shears (Enforcement Officer) and Tony Bowdidge and Jackie Wells (Transport Assistants).
