Bowood House and Gardens

Bowood House - the home of the Marquis and Marchioness of Lansdowne - is a Georgian house set in superb grounds fashioned by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown. The spectacular gardens feature rhododendron walks (a beautiful sight in May and June) and there is a very large adventure playground for children.
